Bio
A native of the state of Washington, Ann grew up in Bellevue and attended the University of Washington prior to transferring to Arizona State University. Following graduation from ASU, and four years working for a small architectural firm, she joined the Tempe based design and fabrication company Habitat. During her twelve year tenure, Ann rose to become Vice President of Habitat’s Hospitality Design Division, responsible for overseeing six million in both design and fabrication commissions. Ann’s portfolio of Clients while at Habitat included such global companies as United Colors of Benetton, Disney, Marriott Vacation Club International, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Four Seasons Residence Clubs, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Kona Grill and Del Webb Corporation. As McKenzie Design’s Managing Principal, Ann oversees all operational and management activities as well as the role of Lead Designer on all projects. Ann is a member of the International Interior Design Association, and the American Society of Interior Designers. As well, she is engaged in the process of licensure in the states of California, Florida, Nevada and Texas. Ann supports Kiva and Livestrong, enjoys travel and can be found playing golf when it’s under ninety degrees at Grayhawk Golf Club.
